I am building a site right now and I have my linking text one color but when I preview the site the links are a different color. How can I make it so the links don't change color? I read some previous posts about going to styles and then a lins or a styles but I don't see that. Thanks for your help and patience.

It's under " Tools " > "Styles" and then when syles opens look over to the top right ( just under the X ) and click "edit" so the box opens up and gives you edit options - from there you just kinda play around with it till you figure it out. When you make changes to the link styles click the "update" at bottom right. The idea is to create many different " styles " that you could apply to different pages or items in the whole site. To keep them from changing color, make the style color the same as your font color. Keeping in mind there are 3 things that make link change color - hover, visited, active.

you can also add a new link in that same area. so that you can have a different looking link for your menu and another looking link for other things on your page.

You can just select the same color on the build page for all three options... standard, visited, active. If you select the same color for all the options then the links won't change colors.
