Image editing software......

I am really digging GIMP. I have been using it for so many things; just messing around with it, and checking out tutorials and such. Personally, I think it is a completely awesome program. And the best part is it's FREE!

I have seen a couple others that are really lame and are not user friendly at all. Are there any other programs out there that are free or relatively 'cheap' that have as much functionality and are as user friendly as GIMP? I like to keep my options open.

Photoshop Elements, that's what I use, it cost maybe $60

I use an old copy of PaintShop Pro4.

I use mostly Xara Extreme Pro 4 even though it is really over the top for what I need so far. I haven't found anything that it can't do and it is a pretty good flash maker tool as well (although Toufee rules for flash).
