Red face anyone use Go Daddy as a web host? - 05-27-2008, 05:51 PM

anyone use Go Daddy as a web host? I am interested in setting up some Form Mail. I have tried Supa's Tutorial, it makes sense, and is a good thing, but I can't get it to work unless I am making a 'typo'. or some dumb mistake.

My server's basic hosting doesn't support PHP, ASP, or pretty much anything like that. For a few bucks more it does though.

You can check out www.directnic.com. Their pricing is pretty reasonable. They start at $3.95 / month. http://www.directnic.com/features/paidhosting.php

Thumbs up CoffeeCup is good to the last drop........ - 05-27-2008, 07:15 PM

I love that CoffeeCup Form program! It is very easy to use and has a lot of great features. I use a few other CoffeeCup programs. It's probably some of the most user friendly software out there.

Oh, and I use the Directnic hosting myself. I wouldn't suggest it, unless I was using it. LOL

Why give it to coffee cup, give it to me...or charity...

no, now seriously why would you spend money on something you have for free ?
so what it they don't approve php scripts, they MUST have their own script which they trust and allow using.
I saw many hosting companies like this.
what more do you need from the form feature in WE ?

the only thing you need, is to know where is the Go-daddy script location.
and let the form you make in WE know.

so simple.

I couldn't get it to work for my Host Hostmonster, maybe I made a typo error. There was just (1) Line of Code in the PHP File to change right? What do you suggest? My email address is Contact@CheapWebDesignInElgin.com, and my Web Host is www.hostmonster.com

Lastly, I can my Forms to work with Hostmonster, but would like to use your stuff?

Hostmonster gives me this: action="http://www.hostmonster.com/monstermail"

for my Form Mail
