To assist in answering your question in a timely manner, it is helpful to post the following information when you ask a question:

1. What version of our software are you using?
This can typically be found by clicking Menu(s) (or hitting F10 on the keyboard), Help, About Motorola Phone Tools

2. What phone and cable or bluetooth adapter are you using?

3. What operating system are you using?
E.g., Windows XP service Pack 2. This can normally be found by right-clicking 'My Computer' and left-clicking properties and it will be listed under the System section on the General tab.

4. Details of the issue including any error messages
E.g, "When I try to install it keeps stating 'Please insert disk 1'."

5. Scenarios under which the issue occurs
E.g., "I can normally tranfser contacts, but when I am running a certain piece of software this happens."

6. How did you receive the software?
E.g., I bought it at Motorola.com *OR* I bought it on e-Bay *OR* It came why my phone.

2. What phone and cable or bluetooth adapter are you using? = Kensington Bluetooth adapter

3. What operating system are you using?= Windows XP w/sp2

Why won't the music files transfer via a Bluetooth USB adapter from my pc to the Katana?

That's going to be an issue with your phone I think. You might want to contact your service provider about that.
