Unsupported format?

I just purchased the Ringtone Media Studio program (version 2.20) and had great success with making my own custom wallpapers and sending them to my phone. However, I am having trouble with the ringtones I have made using the program. They seem to send okay, but when I try to download them to the phone I get a message stating the file format is not supported - which really makes NO sense because I'm sending them in MP3 format and the phone has a built-in MP3 player, even.

Here are the specs on my phone:

Carrier: Verizon
Make: Samsung
Model: SCH-A950

Also worth mentioning is that Ringtone Media Studio will not let me send the file in any format other than MP3. Any help would be appreciated, as this is what I bought the program for and it's kinda worthless if I can't get the ringtones to download, let alone work.

Your phone supports MP3s, but it may not support them as ringtones.
