Is this software compatable with a Nextel/Motorola i870 using a Nextel carrier?

I have been trying to figure this software out for two days now. First, I get zero SMS messages. I had to manually type in the URL to get to "my locker". Everytime I click "transfer to phone" , it says it sent to my phone, but I am getting no messages. (Yes, I triple checked to make sure the right number was given).

I decided to try and download it from the site "over the air" but I keep getting errors such as 406 Not Acceptable (this was a .jpg image which my phone does support). I get the same error message when trying to download ringtones.

Is it possible that this software just is not compatable with my phone? Or, am I just doing something wrong, and if so, please help!

With Nextel and Iden phones you will not be abel to use this software for transfering Ringtones, The phones dont support it.

To register for Nextel MobilePics you must have a MyNextel account and the MobilePics application
on your phone. You can get more information about how to register for a MyNextel account by going to www.nextel.com and clicking Register for MyNextel. Once you have registered for a MyNextel account, you are ready to download the MobilePics application to your phone.

On your phone, download the MobilePics companion application by doing the following:
From the main menu, select:
Downloads & Services > Applications-Downloads > Browse > Lifestyle > All Lifestyle > MobilePics
OR
Downloads & Services > Applications-Downloads > Browse > Productivity > MobilePics
Note: MobilePics is a multi-functional Lifestyle and Productivity application. Therefore, both options listed above will provide you with access to MobilePics.

Once the application has downloaded and installed you will receive a confirmation message, on your phone. Your online album is now ready for use. You can organize, edit and upload directly from your phone or computer.

Uploading Pictures from your Computer:
1. On your computer, launch your Internet browser and go to www.nextel.com/mobilepics to display the Nextel MobilePics page.
2. Under Try MobilePics, click Log in to MobilePics.
3. Enter your MyNextel username in the Member name box and your password in the Password box.
4. Click Log In to access MobilePics.
5. You can upload multiple pictures at once -- depending on your browser and computer platform. On the Upload page, choose the Add Group button. Then simply select the folder on your computer's hard drive where your pictures are stored. Hold the Control button on your keyboard down while you click to select pictures. Click Open to send the pictures to the upload window, then Upload to upload your pictures to Nextel Photoshare. Each picture's file size may not exceed 6MB, and no more than 90 MB of pictures may be uploaded at one time.

Accessing Pictures from your Phone
1. From the main menu, select Java Apps.
2. Select Nextel MobilePics to start the application.
