Cannot save -

I have my sound file edited down to a 30 second clip but everytime I try to save it the program saves the entire file and not just the clip.

There are two buttons at the top you can use to Save. One says Save as and the other says Save Selection as. Make sure you are selecting the Save Selection button to save your edited clip.
