phone plays whole song for ringtone

i try to edit song -- and when i save it --it saves as the whole song from the beginning..and not my edits --- and i listen to the edit version--but when i save the song starts from the begining -- i would like to be able to start songs from the middle ot maybe the end ......help pls... :cry:

You need to highlight the section of the song and then to click save selection as and save the selected part .
