Default No MP3's showing - 12-07-2006, 02:03 PM

I just installed Ringtone Media Studio and went to my folder that contains all my MP3 files. However none show up for me to open. The folders and subfolders are listed but no music files show for me to choose to edit. I restarted the program thinking its because I just installed and still no music files are showing for me to pick. Any ideas why?
I am using the evaluation version at this time, just found it on the web and wanted to give it a try before purchasing. I have another program that does the same thing as this but it doesn't work at all. It allows me to create the edited file fine, but the end result never gets to my phone. I thought maybe Media Studio might be what I'm looking for but I need to figure out why its not showing my MP3's.

From where you have these MP3's files , are you saved on a cd , if so make sure it is not protected or blocked files .

If it is not from a cd , I need to knwo if you have this problem with all files in your PC ?

They are not protected files or blocked nor from a CD. They are on my hard drive.

No I have no problems with these files showing up in other programs or any problems with my files in general. One thing I did notice is this program seems to only show "MIDI" files. I cant' view my wav OR MP3 files with it.
thanks!

If your Phone does not support HiFi , The software won't show MP3s .

Question:
What is a Hi-Fi ringtone?

Answer:
A Hi-Fi ringtone is a ringtone made from an MP3, WAV, WMA, or AAC file. The result can be an MP3 file, Wav, SMAF or AMR.

Note: SMAR or AMR are special formats for cell phones. The sound quality is not as good as it is with an MP3 or Wav.
