User's Guide

I bougth Classic Phone Tools by download, order # 1006912343, also download user's guide (Phone Tools). The documentation shows me a screen not similar to the one i receive when open and try to use the software. What am i supposed to do?

The program will only show the features that are supported by the modem. If the modem only supports fax it will not show the phone and voicemail options.

In addition to BVRPs reply, the only users manual avail for Classic PhoneTools that has pictures in it is for the older OEM versions. Believe it or not, the only documentation avail for version 6 is an installation guide which doesn't cover usage or operation of the program and is therefore about as useful to most people as a 2 bob watch. This is an annoying situation and when I last asked BVRP some time ago, there were no plans to introduce a proper manual for version 6.

Even though I've also purchased version 6, for various reasons I prefer an older version (which matches the manual pictures) so I use that. If you have any specific operational questions that aren't covered in the applications help, I'll try to help from memory, or is it that you were expecting a software provider to provide a complete proper matching manual with their software? :shock:
