Motorola Phonetools and A780 - recognised but can't sync -

Phonetools Version: 4.2.1a (bought directly from website)
Modem driver: Motorola USB modem OS version: Windows XP Professional SP2 Phone: Motorola A780 Issue is that phonetools recognises the phone and all options are enabled. However, when I try to either synchronise or view the phone's phonebook via the PC, there is an error, and the phone is no longer recognised. I can only get the phone to be re-recognised by phonetools if I restart the program and disconnect and reconnect the phone, but again the same thing happens if I try to interact the PC with the phone in any way. alexdouglasjones@gmail.com
