Default Merge two locations of received faxes - 08-31-2006, 07:25 PM

I have two directories of saved faxes , files are: recu*.T31, recv*.T31 etc...

I would like to merge the two directories (one is on my old computer and one on the new one) to one and be able to view them.

If that is not possible, how can I view the "old" document directory with saved faxes?

I use Classic Phonetools 6.04 on Windows XP

You can not merge them. Basically each fax in the program requires both the files in the Documents Directory and the Queue directory to be read by the program.

On the old computer you should be able to right click on the faxes in Phones and then Save As and save it as a Jpeg so you can view it out side the program. Same with the new computer.

Thanks for the answer.

I no longer have my old computer, just the files.
So I can't even save them to a jpg.

Where does the program look for the doc and QUEUE directory?

Do I have to temporarily move the old QUEUE and doc directories to the location of where the new files reside or is there a better way?

The files are located under C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\BVRP Software\Classic Phonetools.

You could copy those folder oout of here and then put the old ones in to view and save them, and then return the original ones back.
