The BT-Software on the PC does discover my motorola and I can access the phone's folders and files correctly. But the phonetools software prompts that it has not discovered my phone. On the BT's status window I can see that phonetools does not even use the BT device to start a search and to offer a choice of devices found as this works with the nokia software e.g. - how can I tell phonetools how to find my phone?

I'm having a similar problem. I got an E1000 and the motorola phone tools software won't recognize it (I'm using vers 2.0). The Bluetooth software recosnizes it and even pair with it, synching my computer & phone, but when I try to pair it using the phone tools software, it indicates that pairing cannot be accomplished. Do I need a higher version, 3.0 or 4.0?
Please help. |
