Default Phonetools won't connec to Eicon Diva ISDN USB adapter - 02-07-2006, 02:36 PM

Title says it.

Background: I bought and downloaded Classic Phonetools Retail to use with a USB handset. I want to be able to make phone calls on one ISDN channel while using the other channel for VPN/Internet access. The Diva is working fine for VPN/Internet connections (I'm posting this via that route), but Phonetools won't connect to it.

When I try to install Phonetools it gets an error when trying to connect to the adapter. I've tried with and without the adapter in use, and I've tried a system reboot. The Device detection screen says:

* Modem identification
*Opening Eicon ISDN V.120 (64K)
*Modem properties
-->AT13
oComm Error
*Closing Eicon ISDN V.120 Modem (64K)

What am I doing wrong?

Unless the version of Classic Phonetools came with the ISDN modem, we do not support them in any of our programs.
