receiving fax in independent mode -

I'm using phone tools classic oem (us robotics, 56k message) ver 4.21 under win XP SP1.
In independent mode no fax can be received (voice mail only) while in active mode (modem connected to PC) it works as expected. Is there a patch?

Not through our program. You may want to contact US Robotics to see if there is a firmware update for your modem.
