New to the forum so just to say hi to you all and post my first question.

I have a site I particularly need to make accessable to people with disabilities. I've done the obvious things such as using a plain and easily read design, reasonably large fonts etc.

I was wondering if anyone had played about with things like access keys in conjunction with WE and/or has gone further and tried to comply with the Web Content Accessibility guidelines from W3C.

PS - I know absolutely no HTML and no particular desire to learn! That's why I like WE ;)

TIA.

Midge

Just upgraded to WE 8 from WE 5

Isn't most of what you desire already built into Windows? You might wind up messing up the disabled when they already have their puter setup for their viewing?

I've built website with WE that are W3C Compliant

and

buillt some that do not pass the W3C Compliant test.

W3C Compliant is not need or a must.

Fair points thanks - I'd just been looking at some of the more accessible websites and working out how I can do some of it with WE!

Access keys would probably be the main one but I've seen mixed reviews on clashes with other hot keys across various browsers, so even that has its critics.
