Hiya guys! I'm running into a little trouble on my site (http://www.rixfotos.com/). I have some flash animation on both my homepage and a page called Galleries (http://www.rixfotos.com/index_003.htm). As you'll see on the Galleries page, I had to put links underneath the pictures. Ideally, I wanted to be able to click on the actuall picture and be taken to the main page for that gallery (instead of havinf to click say, the "PLACES" link underneath). Trouble is, when I tried to link the Flash Animation, I discovered that it already has a link attached to it. The "lonk" appears to be the location of the animation on my hard drive (I just dragged the animations in place as I do with any other picture).
Also, how do you get that handy "loading" symbol or text going while the animation is downloading?
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!

I would check the software you used to build the flash files. Ordinarily you will find options for "run bars", and linking there.
Great start on your site BTW!

Thanks Fishinsecrets! As for the software, I did it thru Photoshop and I'm not aware of any Flash type extras in there, though I could snoop around a bit more.
In case that's a bust... Know of any relatively inexpensive (and simple to use) Flash programs?

You should check your html and adjust the scripting to redirect the flash images to a specific page. There are different ways to do this. I did it within an iFrame on a site: http://www.zombiefoto.com/portfolio/female.htm
Notice how if you click on the small image, the larger version of it shows up to the right of it? It’s all done with custom scripting. Maybe consider doing something like that.

JohnnyD - impressive site... Pictures and layout! If I knew how to get the HTML in there I would do it! Do I use the inspector? Custom Script assistant? And how exactly??
I did take Fishy's advice and downloaded a trial from the guys he suggested. Doing this I was able to link the new animation to a specific page. However, now I have noticed a new problem.
Here's the test page... http://www.rixfotos.com/index_100.htm As you'll see the new animation has an unsightly orannge edge to it. the old Photoshop versions had a white line which while still bothersome, was much less intrusive. Any ideas on how to get rid of these lines? Somehow I think its a function of Webeasy.
Any continued help or advice would be welcome!

I also contacted Antssoft with my one pixel line problem and they sent me a new beta version of their SWF Slide program and it seems to have taken care of the issue! So, looks like they're gonna make a sale. Just have to figure out if I need to bundle it with any of their other programs!
