Attention support AK

I see that they have gone to Version choices again. Std, Pro and now Premium.
Std looks like everything but ecommerce.
Pro adds the ecommerce.
Premium adds "advanced ecommerce".

While not available to we Crazy Yanks for a while yet I wanted to get a head start on feature studies so I can make a choice when the time comes.

AK
What I need to know is just exactly what "advanced ecommerce is and does over the pro version. No complaints on the pricing but for twice the price of Pro I need to make an informed decision.

Is there an in house review on the subject that we can see?

I would love to answer these questions, but unfortunately us in the support department have not been provided any of this information. We typically do not receive this information before the software is made available for purchase. We will be happy to provide this information as soon as it is made available to us. However, we do not have an ETA on when we may receive this sort of information.

Edit doesn't seem to work for me on this forum.

Anyway, reading between the lines I tend to think that the advanced ecommerce is just more complicated but prepackaged web stores. They are probably tied directly to the Ieasy host service. I hope I am wrong and there are things I can use but I bet that's it.

First off, when ever I have problems with editting, I just open the edit in a new window and there are no problems.

As for the advanced ecommerce stuff, i use coffeecup's storefront program. It works pretty well for me.

Hello Folks.

I always purchase the new versions top level so I don't miss anything. I have never 'upgraded' the version I have, if that was possible in the past, I don't really remember.

Also, I buy the box version so I have any literature that comes with the CD. If I have a major drive fail or one of the computer's go belly up, I've got a hard copy to install on a new machine.

IF WE was high priced, I might think twice about doing it this way. However, for less than $100.00 I don't think the price would be a harship for any of us.

I agree Verb. I hate updates that I can't download and keep on file for....just in case.
