Try 'Plain Text' instaead of Rich Text

I am using plain text to build site and it still is coming out in different places when I preview it in browser. I do have a large 24" monitor with settings set at 1920x1200.
Could it be settings in IE8 that could be causing this?
Isn't there a way to change text into image format to prevent text from moving around once you preview it?
Thanks in advance.

IE8 fricken sucks, its causing so many problems with so many sites, you go to a site and try to navigate it and nothing seems to work, go to the same site using FireFox and works no problem! MS needs to get on fixing their product.

You would think that with so much work they put in to something, they'd actually have made it work. Go figure.
