I have set up a shopping cart with paypal and have made all the add buttons for my website, however, I have been unable to copy and paste the codes to the program.

I inserted the paypal add to cart button but when I copy and paste the code from paypal it will not put it in the correct place. When I test the site by building the website the paypal add to cart is in the wrong place.

How can I correct this. I am unfamiliar with writing codes. Can anyone help me with this problem?

Thank you.

Linda

I am having a hard time picturing your question. Can you show us the page that is giving you trouble? If I can see the problem I might be able to help.

Try this out.

In your edit menu select shapes and then from the top menu shapes drop down select solid box and draw a small box anywhere on your page. It will default to a black shape. Change the color if needed so it stands out against your background.

Copy your PayPal code, select the shape you just created and then in the top menu go tools drop down menu and select custom script assistant. A window will appear, in the contents box paste the PayPal code.

Move the shape to where ever you need it and will stay there. This is called a place holder. Preview your site to make sure it's where it needs to be.

Let me know if you have problems.

Thank you for responding. I was able to figure it out from another reply that I received. Instead of using the insert "paypal" button I used insert shape and copied and pasted the paypal code for the button.
