I have tried to see if this question has been answered before, but could not locate anything. When I publish my site, purchased stock photo images that appear as clear and concise in preview, appear "pixelated" and fractionated on the web site. No matter what I do (i.e. save in different sizes, etc), I can't seem to overcome it. Any ideas? Thx!

This may be because you are dropping them on your built pages and then building them right? I usually upload all of my images to their own folder and use custom scripting to direct the page to grab the images from that folder instead. I have found that this does not cause the degrading of the images.

There are posts on how to do this, but if you need help, let me know.

I didn't see anything that looked pixelly (is that a word?). Only thing that looked odd was the "Spring Specials" text but I think that is because you probably used GRAPHIC TEXT, it sometimes looks that way.

Under the options tab, you should be able to get to something called image smoothness. Slide the bar to max smoothness.

I know exactly what you are talking about. WE by default does always do a smooth job of resizing images. Do the above and it should take care of it.
