Don't thank me yet. I haven't made any money from them yet, yet.

Unfortunately, there won't be much money in that unless a site gets a couple thousand unique hits a day. Not saying your site doesn't or couldn't David, just saying that it's doubtful anyone could make significant money unless that was happening.

Total investment: $9.69(a year) for the domain name. It cost me nothing else to run that website.

If it gets you money back that you spent, then definitely you are ahead of the game. But what's the ratio of dollars and cents after all that is accomplished? $5 a year?

C'mon man, quit rain'in on my parade, you sound like my wife! She hates the money I spend on my "ventures". Of course, when one of them finally pays off she'll have no problem spending the money it nets!

It just goes to show that you married an intelligent woman. Not an easy thing to admit to sometimes, huh? But yes, in the end when the money rains down and you are almost drowning in 1's, 5's, 10's, 20's and maybe even 100's, I'll stop being such a party pooper. LOL
