Of course there is. I use SiteMeter.com

There are tons of different sites that will provide visitor tracking, just do a google/yahoo search for "site counter" or something like that. Most simply require that you add a little custom code to your page.

You do need an outside service to run the counter but look in the help files index for Visitor counter. The inside coding part of it is already in there for some of the services.
