I thought I had seen it all. I can no longer drag a picture from the file browser onto the document. It just beeps at me as in "nope, ain't gonna do it".

I figured I had to lose another license bullet by reinstalling.
Uninstalled
Manually cleaned out anything left in Program files.
Rebooted
Check Program Files again. nada
Used a registry cleaner.
Rebooted
Installed WE again.
Rebooted
Opened with "Run as Admin"

FYI: Cleaned and defragged nightly.
Spyware and virus checked with clean bill of health.

Darn thing is still beeping at me.
Anyone run into this or know of any other program that interferes with it?

I prefer using the insert function manually. Can't really say I ever used the drag and drop function of it. I guess it's the control freak in me coming out. LOL

Try inserting manually, instead of dropping the images in that way. If it doesn't work, then I am at a loss.

Manually will work but seems like the slow way to me. Drag and drop still no worky.

When I had a problem like that, too me, I thought there was too much poo on the page, and the Prog said..'No More !' (bowel is full)

WE is like a house of cards, do what you can, and the rest, you 'can'..

What the heck is your strange fascination with scat, poo, dookey, crap, fudge or whatever else you can call it?

I narrowed it down to the folder that I keep all my stuff (monkey poo?)in.

After fooling around with deleting and putting the folder back in I found that renaming the folder made WE happy again. Of course, I then had to redirect WE to the new name.

Still need to figure out what set it off. Probably not enough to worry about and is a combination of windows and we issues.
