I used webeasy in the past, and it was no problem making a rollover sound on a rollover image. Now with version 7, I can't even come close to making that happen. It doesn't matter what browser I use. I can't get any rollover sound. Any advice?

Why in the world would you want a sound for the rollovers? To be honest, and please don't take this the wrong way, but that is very 'old school' web designing. There really aren't too many that do that anymore. But if you want to, I'm sure there must be a way through some HTML coding. But I think the reason it's not available is because of what I said at the beginning. Just my opinion. :D

Wow...I feel like I just walked into a party with eighties leather pants and a Bruce Springstein headband! I feel like I wearing white shoes AFTER labor day. I looked around and other sights......and low and behold.....no rollover sound! Gads!
Well, maybe if I tell you what I am doing, you can give your opinion. Yes, I am asking about your opinion. I run a gym. I wanted the site to have sort of rugged, futuristic, post apocolyptic, high tech feel. I have lots of beveled steel background and grungy walls. I have menu buttons that look like buttons on an old radio. When you rollever them.....the word glows. It sounds cheesy, but when I show people......even tech people........they are pretty impressed. I wanted sort of a buzzer, sort of of the kind you would hear in a nuclear shelter when a door is closed, or a prison door is closed to sound when you run your mouse over it.
If this is a bad idea.......no prob. I respect your opinion. I am also using drop down popup menus, I wanted to use a small beep as your run down the menu. Again........bad idea?

I dunno, sound can come off corny if not done right. Usually the sites that have very cool sounding effects are done with shockwave menus and very high-end software. Standard sound clips might not work well, but give it a shot, might be cool. Me and Johnny are just tryin to point out that not to many sites use sounds like that anymore.

Easy Rollover sound - really easy! :)
Step 1: Using the File Browser, drag and drop the icon of your sound file onto the image. A message box will open saying you have created an ‘audio link’.
Step 2: ‘Preview’ your page, touch the image with your mouse and the sound will play when the image changes
When not in ‘Preview’ you can use the Link dialogue box to hear it play if you want to (a small wav file will preview when you create the link, a larger mp3 or midi file may or may not).
