I hope someone can help me with this. When accessing my website www.plainvillesoccer.org the page loads in pieces. The page background then the text then the graphics. I have seen other pages load all at once. I have tried joining the items on the page as one but this does not help.

Please advise.

It's a matter of how fast your internet connection is and the browser used, nothing more.

I am not totally convinced that is the answer. I have seen the sight through different browsers and lan speeds with the "choppy" result.

No, its like Dave said. I just clicked on your site and it all appeared almost simultaneously, not in section. If I had to classify it in sections of appearance I'd say at the most I saw two different speeds of appearance.

Another thing that can affect loading is the actual load (bandwith usage) the server is under that your website is hosted on.

It looks fine to me.

My site has the same problem. I think the template I used is very graphic intensive which doesn't help.

The entire page seems as though they are all a series of images and loads very slowly. Is that normal? Are there any settings that might speed it up.

I'm used to 10 years of MS Frontpage, so this output is a little different to me.

My host provider is Arishost, whice is probably on the slow side at $30/yr.

Thanks

Again. Your site loads just fine. Its your internet speed and quality. I loaded your site, it loaded instantly. There was like a milisecond of lag on the images. Seriously, if I'd have blinked I would have not seen the lag.
