Looking for some guidence. I have inserted some custome code for a Google countdown gadget using the steps below. When I test the page the gadget works great, when I move to another page in the site and then treturns, there is empty spave where the gadget should be. What is going wrong?
1) Insert an image into your page in the position where you want the custom code to be.
2) Select the image.
3) From the "Tools" menu select "Custom Script Assistant"
4) In the window that appears, make sure the "Object Events" button is selected.
5) Type your custom HTML code in the text box labeled "Contents", or press CTRL-V to paste it.
6) Click "OK".

Whats the code, can you paste it into Notepad, and upload it to a Thread so we can see it? Also, some stuff won't work until it is online

I'm at work now, there should be a 'Sticky' thread on inserting Script, did you follow those steps?

Yes - I followed directions per the sticky post. When I press F8 to view the changes on the home page the gadget loads correctly. I then go to another page in the website and then retun to the home page. When the home page loads the gadget is no longer there and is replaced by a large space. There are no errors on the page (No yellow trianagle at the bottom left of the bottom bar).

PREVIEW does not always get the correct results

Sounds to me like a problem with the gadget. If it loads once on a page but not again, it doesn't sound like it is your fault or WE's.
Have you used different gadget before and they worked correctly? If not try another one just to test it and see.
You might want to ask the big man, Google.

Thanks - I'll give it a try. In the meantime I will use some java script. Not as pretty but will get the job done.

Not sure what guidelines you followed to input your code but try mine, they're foolproof...
