Greetings from Sydney, Australia...

I'm a first time user of Web Easy Pro 7 (ver: WE-7.1.1-Pro-P000-Enu). I've previously used Dreamweaver but beause I now have Vista 64 Bit and I wanted all legit software on this system (cough) I picked up WE7 for free from a PC magazine here in Oz

To cut a long story short after a few hours familiarising myself with WE7 I collected all the elements I needed, planned out a site map and started creating

The result : www.sydneybodyartride.org

I'm very happy with the results. However I have a few questions that I seek help on.

Page Size: I couldn't figure out how to costomise the page sizes individually. All I could find are global settings for Page Size. Is there a way of customising the page sizes on each page rather than globally?

Scrolling text Box: I would like to add a srolling text box and have a feeling this feature is inbuilt somewhere but after browsing this forum I now suspect I will have to track down some code and add it in as custom scripts.

Updating pages: When I update pages (Html with ccs) how do I update that single page (build) and when I ftp the update do I also have to update the CCS and ftp both files?

Images: How do I tell WE7 to build a folder to keep images in. Basically I would rather hold assets in a folder of it's own.

I have more questions but that will do for now.

I had a lot of fun using WE7 and I'm now looking forward to creating more projects or at least improving current projects.

Thanks in advance

In order to Customize a page by size and content, you must make that page a seperate Document. Scrolling Text Box, an 'I-Frame', do a forum search here, people have made them, I never had a need, seperate folder for images, not sure you can do that..

Nope. Page size within a single document is the same for each page within that document. Different page sizes can be accomplished by creating seperate documents and linking them together, it gets tricky to do but can be done.

It is my opnion, and that of many others here, that when you update you should first backup your old files, then delete all files from your server and upload ALL the files again. It is a safer move to delete and reupload all pages, leaves little room for problems. Unless your site is huge it shouldn't take long to reupload all the files each time.

You can set the image/graphics folder using the INSPECTOR. Under settings for "current document" that is a spot that says "image folder", doubleclick on that and you enter a name like images or graphics.
