Why don't you save your Word Doc, as a HTM File (file, save as Web Page) then upload the new file, and it will look just like your Word Doc.

Use a program like PDF Factory (http://www.fineprint.com/products/pdffactory/index.html) to make a pdf file out of your word doc. Upload the pdf file to your website and link that file to the icon.

thanx webmonkey...

i did that but the file did not look like my word.doc
the document is 2 pages
when i uploaded it had the 2 pages side by side and the headings
were all out of whack...

tried copying and pasting on a webeasy page figuring i could then link to that page but that wouldn't work either...

any other suggestions...

I use CutePDF. It's cheap also. You will probably be better off with a pdf format as contrary to belief not everyone has Word.

Just a thought/question. Are you trying to have something they can download and mail to you OR are you really trying to do an online FORM which is a whole different animal? See numerous threads and stickies if so.

If you google the search field for 'free pdf convertor' you will find a couple. Some of them will place an ad type text at the botton to show that it was converted by their software, but some are nice and don't have that. I can't think of the one I have that's free and ad-free, off the bat, but when I do I'll try to post it here for you.

The software WORKS for free. It just puts a watermark at the bottom of the page. If you pay for it then the watermark is removed. Its just a one line ad that says "PDF created with pdfFactory trial version www.pdffactory.com"

Some don't want the watermark. They don't want customers knowing that they didn't create it themselves. Duh! hee hee hee That's why I found one where I don't have to worry about a watermark.

Its not that they didn't create the file themselves, it just shows that they didn't use a full version software to make the pdf.

Are there really some good free pdf'ers out there? That don't leave a watermark or ad?

Answered my own question, found this software, just installed it and tested it, works great, free, and no limitations or watermark! Sweeet.

The program I was talking about is CutePDF Writer.

I use it all the time and there is no watermark or anything. It's a great program.
