I would like to have a section on my site that allows parents and alumni to register their email in order to recieve updates and announcements via email. Does WE have a premade script or tem,plate that I can add into my page for this.

There are some standard contact scripts but you're better off simply adding a email link and telling people to email you with their name and address. The whole contact form things gets a bit messy. Just do a search of the forum on it and you'll see.

It sounds like what you need is just an auto responder. PM me and I will give you a good one. It is easy to install.
