Hello everyone.
I'm creating my website and I have it set up where the page is centered in the browser. I want to have the foreground of the page a different color than the boarder (background) along the two sides of the page.
I've got it all set up and working, BUT it won't save the background color. I set it up and preview it and it's good. Then, when I save, close out of the program, then open the document again, it reverts back to an older background color.
I've even tried editing the source html for the background color and it makes the adjustment, but won't save.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Make a background Gif, and use the html body background tag, put the HTML Tag in the 'Author' section so it goes in your Head section, upload Gif to your Public HTML Folder..and the look at the Source Code of my Cheap Web Design, see how I linked it...hope this is not to complicated.

Webmonkey..... I have no idea what you're talking about.
I made a .gif file of the color background I want, but I don't understand what to do from there.
Isn't there a simpler way to make WebEasy save the background settings?

He explained what to do from there. Upload that gif file to your server and use an html background tag (http://www.ipl.org.ar/youth/kidsweb/tags12.html) to reference that file, the background tag must go in the HEAD section of your document
Also did you look at the threads I suggested?

Or, just change the css file to use your image instead of the default.
