Anybody else having this issue? I click (close) to get to the program, and it closes the entire program! I can also click on open or a few others and it closes the program as well. Thanks!

What's the Activity Center? I have have WE and Vista, no problems, but I believe you.

The Activity Center is the first little window that pops up when you open the program (Originally). You can disable it. But since I haven't been able to open the program to disable it, it still pops up.. It has open document, wizard, assistant (I think 6 buttons on it.)

Anyway... Thanks for the reply!

See if right click on WE icon and "run as administrator" works.

Yep, I tried the run as administrator. I thought that is what caused it. No cookie, rats.. I am going to try to reinstall again (3rd time). Thanks!

I'm not sure if this will help since you messed up and got that gawd awful Vista, but it might.

Many times when you uninstall, you do not get a clean uninstall. Check your hard drive first for anything left over pertaining to Avanquest, WE, etc. Look in Program Files and My Documents\user etc etc. Delete that stuff. It really sounds like you got a bad dll file out there.

If you have a registry cleaner, use it. There are probably some free ones out there.

After you uninstall, reboot BEFORE you reinstall.

And lastly, if you feel comfortable editing the Registry, search for WEP or Avanquest or something related to WE. You will still probably see some left over stuff in there. Delete it.

But DO NOT edit the registry unless you know what you are doing..
