How (and can I) develop a site where the main pages keep the same information without loading all the headers every time you click in a link? For example, if you look at this site that I stumbled across (probably not developed with WE):

http://www.stimson.org/home.cfm

When you click on any of the links, the main part of the page at the top (logo, menus, search boxes) do not refresh or reload each time. Once you are in the site, those remain constant and only the new information refreshes when you go into a link.

I am pretty sure it can be done but am not sure how to do it in WE 7.0. Any help?

I think you are referring to 'Frames' which is not the greatest idea Click Here (http://www.seomatrix.com/newsletter/archive/2006/SEO-Newsletter-July-2006/frames-bad-for-optimization.php)

You should start with something somewhat basic, get comfortable with the software, then progress from there.

No I think he means the graphics and menus reload each time you go to a new page. This happens if WE is using actual different files for each page even though the picture is the same, WE will sometimes make another copy of it and give a completely different name, therefore when you go to the next page its actually loading a different image, then you get that refersh reload problem.

This happens based on how you design your page, if you use copy and paste or created new pages based on the first page. You need to play around with it and see what we does with the graphics. I think if you make one page, then select ADD PAGE and chose "like this one" it will create the second page without creating new images but instead referrring to the only one image on two different pages. Do you follow me??

Look at that site he gave as an example, I see what he's saying, I don't how that is done, I've seen that before. I could probably figure it out if someone stuck a gun to my head, but i have no time. My point is that these beginners, get to Setp 1, then want to jump to Step 10
