What do you recommend?

Okay - missing text or missing images is getting frustrating, not to say wasting a lot of time going back to delete and reload.

I get that its my ftp program.

Stepping into new boundaries in my "newbie world" here and its getting confusing for me.

1. So I am not subject to use what the website (hostmonster) provides?

2. Then ---- What is the best FTP to use with WE7?

i am no expert but i have used firezilla and not had any issues

i think one of the members posted a link a little but ago just do a search for publishing site or firezilla

Need to make this a sticky I think as it comes up far too often.
Lots of good ones, paid and free. Folks will chime in. I use 3dftp (http://3dftp.com/).

I agree with Dave. This needs to be a sticky topic.

Personally, I use the mozilla fire FTP program. It's a great little part of the firefox browser's add-on features. It makes it really easy to upload and downlod your pages/files either to your server or from it.

But everyone has their own preference. You kind of need to go out and check them out to see which one is best for your needs.

First off - thanks for the suggestions

After "monkey-playing around" with Filezilla and my firewall for 4 hours - we parted ways.:rolleyes:

But I am extremely happy with 3d-ftp in 30 minutes it was a match made in heaven. And if all goes well I'll be making a purchase for it.
