View Full Version : Your WE license -calling AK

I have a second computer that I keep setup with all my programs for when #1 decides to screw up. I have always kept a second copy of WE on it.

I recently updated #2s hard drive. After installing WE7.0 and doing the update I now get the message that I now have to buy a second license.

Hmmm, when did this first start hapening? I don't have a real problem with it. I was just surprised.

I do have concerns on what happens if I have to reload #1 after a hard drive crash. What does the license lock in on?

AK, find out what the ins and outs are of this please.

Call Tech Support and they will give you another license. It might be quicker:))
Some software uses a license server which requires a connection to the internet to use and some use your disk id. Sounds like that is what WE uses.

They are answering the phone and/or email again?

Yeah, there has to be an answer. What if you get a new puter? Same issue.
