The Update module of we finally after 2 years asked if I wanted to update to version 7.1.1 from 7.1.04 and proceeded to update to my amazement. I had already updated to 7.1.04 (per my post of 7.1?) I haven't heard of anyone posting about the update. Has anyone gotten the update? I can't find it anywhere on the site. I updated my http://www.crockettareabusiness.com site and the source code says 7.1
The only difference I have noticed is the placeholder image is different. Doesn't seem to be as stable on my Vista Home Premium.

See? I told you guys it existed.
This is the first time since version 1 that I have seen that update thing work.
It said it was downloading 7.1.2 but shows in the about as 7.1.1.
Cool. The only downside is that the download procedure doesn't allow saving the update file for future use.
Cool, now to see what works.

Head elements via the inspector now does more than 3 lines. That was my main grump.
Author, keywords and description still cannot be worked on via the inspector.
Sure would be neat to know what they fixed or added. AK?

Yeah, you were right Dave. There really is a version 7.1.
And I have it! I just downloaded it last night. Damn big update too. I haven't seen too many changes, except one when I go to build my page. It now has a trial build feature. Don't know what it is, don't really care to find out right now. LOL

While looking for in the new 7.1 help files for information on the license question I discovered a section on What's new in 7.1. Looks the same as 7.0 with a new title. Nothing about what got fixed...or not.

I took a shot. It's a direct link to the ieasy hosting deal. Looks like they streamlined it to handle the publishing, etc and the trial setup a little to attract customers. This is probably where the real long term income is anyway.

Speaking of what's new. Does anyone know where these are buried?
Corporate web wizard
Personal weblog wizard
Photo web wizard
Ebay wizard
popup menu wizard
Edit: never mind. Those are all templates that have been there for a while. Just called wizards in the help files and assistants everywhere else.

Dave, that's news to me. I'm able to edit all three fields within the inspector, and they all show up properly as meta tags in the head of the document.

Mine does not show up in little box but I have figured out why. All my stuff was orginally done in the build/advance screen.
It does not copy over the information when it is originally done via the build/advanced screen.
However, you can manually copy it over and it works from there. IF you also use the inspector to input those keywords, etc to begin with it is fine.
