Can someone please explain to me how to correctly add a IcoFX icon. The instructions say:




When you have saved your icon add the following code snippet to the head section of your website:

<link rel="SHORTCUT ICON" href="favicon.ico">

Upload the favicon.ico file in the same directory as your web page.


i dont get how or where to do this. Thanks

I have webeasy 7 if that makes any difference.

It called a Favicon, its a 16x16 image icon doohickee itsebitsee teenee weenee thingy. Open the Inspector, and what is it Properties, go to Favoriates Icon ( not sure what it says, but its there) you find the 16x16 thingy, and WE automatically uploads it to your Head section. Also, there are Favivcon maker websites that will take one of your images and shrink it to a 16x16 image icon doohickee itsebitsee teenee weenee thingy. (do this make cents?):lol:

The home link on one of your pages is all caps ( HOME) - on the others it has 2 caps ( HOme) - thought you might like to know.

When I look at my site it does not show me the HOME/HoME etc etc. You are the 2nd person to show me that. The font is all caps made that way...if you can take a screen print on your end and email it to me I would be very greatful. My email is on my site.

I sent you some screenshots. Sorry about the guy/girl thing - Didn't even realize I made a reference either way until I re-read my post ! Anyway, I sent you some pics - Should be easy enough to fix though

He is right, its your navigation links at the bottom of the pages, the only one thats correct is the ABOUT ME page, all the other ones have the home link as "HOme".
