I use GIMP to create images with rounded edges. What you could do is create a rounded image and make it the width and height you want. Then simply insert it on the page as a secondary background.

There are many different ways to do it, but that is one of the easier ways, in my opinion. You can also use it again and again, changing the color and such.

I try some of that stuff I'm working on a site for a Dentist, and was trying to clone a similar site, here's what I have so far http://www.cheapwebdesigninelgin.com/dentist/index.html

I think it looks aesthetically pleasing. The only question I have is regarding the menu. Do you want to keep that shadow at its base? It just seems a little out of place, since nothing else is shadowed, unless you are planning on adding shadow to the other stuff?

Also, have you considered making the main background fixed? I think that would be a nice attribute to have with it. I don’ tknow.

I'm not that good with coordinating colors, the first draft I did, I thought looked good the next day, yuk.. so the DR. made some suggestions.. I'm waiting to here back from her. Trial and error, thanks for the critique.
