Ok guys, heres are weird one, see if you can help me figure out why this is happening.

I'm working on a new site for the community I live in, I have the links setup in the styles section for no underline, and the first time you visit the page, the links will look right, but click on one and now its underlined. What the heck? Can't figure out why its doing this.

Here is the link... http://www.tvahg.org

1)Styles
2) choose a AVisited
3)Modify
4) Custom CSS
5) text-decoration :none;

That works on my site, only thing I can think of. That site looks pretty good, where do you find business?

Dangit, thats to easy. Why didn't I think of that! My web design business is more or less a hobby that I sometimes charge for. This website was a freebie to my community, I've got a lot of work to do on it yet.

Since this is not my bread and butter, I'm not overly concerned with SEO and finding business that way, I like to scour the bulletin boards at local coffee shops and stuff for business cards, I look for people trying to run a business with no website listed or a "free" site like Tripod, then I send them an adverstisement in the mail or by email.

Three of the sites listed on my customers page were friends of mine that I designed for; but hey they paid :)

Get listed fro free at Yahoo Local Business (you might need a free Yahoo email acct to access)

http://listings.local.yahoo.com/csubmit/index.php

I did that to my website. Go to Yahoo, and type in Web Design in Elgin,
see how I am listed in the Map? (BTW, the location is actually the
Library, I didn't want to put my home address)

Also, get a Gmail Account, and submit your website to that Google
Local business

These (2) things are good for site visibility
