This is probably going to be a simple question but i can't seem to find an answer.

A friend asked me to help her with inputting info on her site. She does nto have any money to pay someone and just needs me to enter her info into web easy. We both have web easy 7. So i am assuming as long as i enter the info and send the file to her she should be able to open it and upload to her host server. Is this correct?

How does this affect images - for example when i transferred my files from one pc to another i had to establish the link for all my images.

so when i send the file back to her will she have to do the same?

thanks

Why don't you make the changes, and and upload her stuff from your PC instead of emailing back and forth. Best thing to do is try a trial run, see what happens. Allot of this stuff is Trial and Error

i had suggested that but i think she wants full control (she has been burnt in the past) so i wanted to make sure i have all my facts before agreeing to help

although i think after all said and done i will probably be uploading as well

so is it as simple as i wrote? I know it is mostly trial and error

I would suggest creating a folder only for her call it
Web-Work-may

inside this folder create several more folders.

Document
Images
Movies
Html

Save your main document in the document folder
images in images and so on.
Html folder is for exporting the site to html.

then you can just zip the whole "Web-Work-may" folder and send her.

when she opens the document WE will ask where all the files can be found.
all she needs to do is mark the folder and WE will find all it needs.

All you need to do is send her the WE .ALB file and all the corresponding images. When she opens the file it will want to find the images, she can point the system to wherever she saved them to and that should be all it takes.
