There are different ways to go about using paypal for what you are doing. Here are some examples:

1 – You can set up each individual button for each individual item. You will need to generate a separate code for each one, giving it its own description for the coding. This is time consuming, but may be best way to go, if your prices may change in the future, or you have multiple pricing. Plus you can change them on an individual basis from time to time if need be.

2 – You can set up a button for each price you are selling things for. So if you are selling multiple items at the same price, you only need to generate one code.

To generate the code, click here: https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_merchant&nav=3

Then choose the option you want from there under the CREATE BUTTONS section.

Setting up the code is pretty easy, but if you need help, let me know. I’ve been using this functionality of paypal for a few years now.

Is all that stuff Free from Paypal? Also, have you ever tried calling Paypal, do they answer questions? I'm going to do some PayPal poop soon. TY

Yup. It's free - the coding that is..... Of course if you want to accept the payments coming to you, you will need to pay a small fee to PayPal for them allowing you to use their service. But the fee is rather small, compared to other agencies that charge much more. for less service. PayPal is actually really great, in my opinion.

I've never tried calling them. I have never had cause for it. But every now and then I get some annoying emails from phishers trying to say that my account has been suspended. God I hate those guys. But PayPal's task force on phishing is pretty quick to reply and handle the butt-kicking.

How I do it is I create a solid box and place it where I want the paypal button to be on the page. Then I go and insert the script into the solid box for the paypal button by clicking on tools and then using the custom script function. You will need to test it to make sure that your spacing is right. I usually make the box about 30 X 30 in size. That's pretty much it.

You are going to need to create your own button and then upload it to your server. Then go to paypal and do pretty much everything else, and when you have all your information in for the button, select to 'Use your own button' option. Then put in the URL of the button you created that's on your server. Then you will have the exact size you want each time. Cool huh?

Then just paste the code in like you did before into the solid box on WE and you will have the button sized the way you want and where you want. :D

And the best part is, now you will be using your own custom button, that you create to keep the same look of your site.
