OK, I am trying to make a new thread and have pre written my prose and pasted it in. It's no longer than anything else I have seen here and it does contain some of that I frame code.

Is there some kind of word limit or something wrong about putting that code in that results in a 501 can't display error when submitting?

what I do is put it part of it save. edit, then put in more save ect

Just like everything about WE you can keep beating your head against the wall or you can try something different until you get it to work... That's what this forum is about. a bunch of people who have spent time and just plain old luck sometimes and figured out how to make things work in this program.

I was just making an analogy of the forum to the program, actually to most computer programs. It's all a bit of experimentation.

Back to the forum just start by placing some of your text in a thread. save. then edit your thread and experiment with what is the problem, is it the code? (which it probably is) just save as a text file and attach.

I wound up taking your analgy to school. I had to put that post together in 3 edit moves to get it all but the code. Will do the code in the morning.

Note to Moderator. First forum I ever saw with a word limit on a single post. Please look into that. Doesn't make a lot of sense for this type of forum.
