Insert line....crooked!

Simple question:

Once I choose "Insert line", my problem is to make the line straight. I spend a minute or two traying to make it right, moving the mouse back and forth, specially if is a long line on the page.

Paitence and a steady hand you must have grasshopper.

hold down the shift key while drawing the line.

and there is always the option to turn on the grid and do a "snap to"
