I've searched previous posts and could not find the answer to my problem.
I am trying to use the publish assistant to upload to GoDaddy hosting.
What are the correct folders for:
Initial remote folder
Inital local folder

This is a question for your hosting provider, but I've looked it up for you anyway, you should be able to find your answer somewhere here....

tedesco1, if you still need help - initial local folder is the folder on YOUR computer where the websites html files are ( when you select build a website after creating a document ) Most likely > My documents > Web easy > html.
initial remote folder is the folder at Go Daddy where your html files go. Go to page 15 of the guide davidrosso posted. Or Go Daddy should have a type of file manager you can log into and look for the folder - most likely will be something like www/var/html or public_html - but Go Daddy should be able to tell you. I just uploaded my web to Godaddy tonight and the initial remote foler is a blank, that is to say, you just leave that line blank.
