View Full Version : Table in preview mode doesn't match HTML codes

I created a table in Web Easy that contains a survey form. I checked the code first in the HTML Editor at the W3School website. The result was perfect with background color, cell padding, etc., and it looked great.

But from Web Easy, when I preview the web page with the survey/table in Firefox, it is all wrong. There is no background color, no cell padding - all the text is flush against the left margin and it looks like crap!

Is there some secret I'm missing to get this right? As I said, the same coding turns out a perfect table in an HTML Editor, but it's all wrong in the Web Easy preview.

I am building my site with "HTML with CSS". Is there something else I'm doing wrong or some step I'm forgetting?

Did you 'Bulid' before you previewed? Make sure you 'Build' before you preview. I bulid all my poop with CSS/XHTML

You build all your poop? lmao!! Thanks for the laugh.

From the menu bar, I click "Build>Preview Page", and select HTML/CSS. I have tried XHTML/CSS, but there was no difference in the result.

How does it look in IE7 (assuming you have it installed)?

...or, alternatively, put it up and we'll test it.
