I understand the bookmark thing on the same page. No problemo.
Is there a way to go to a bookmark from another page?
IE: Bookmark is half way down page 2.
Page 1 needs to link to that bookmark on page 2.

Can I juggle the address somehow?

Thanks

I had the same scenario, so I made a regular link from Page 1 to Page 2, then on the top of Page 2 I put the Bookmark, assuming it woud make sense to the Visitor

I can't see where you gained anything. I would consider that a normal link and then a bookmark on the same page. Yes/no?

If you think it's that important, make a text link on Page one. saying 'click here, and go halfway down page 2'

When you link simply add a # and the bookmark identifier to the end of the link.
for example:

my bookmark identifier is mark1.
my link should be : www.Books.com/sales.html

link it like this : www.Books.com/sales.html#mark1

it will do the trick.

It comes of reading the links. :)

Thanks Supa. That was just what I was wondering about.

JH. I am an avid reader, even of boring stuff like help files and manuals. You are going to have to show me where that little bit of information is hidden.

In IE when you mouse over the link on a lot of pages it shows the address down in the lower left corner of the browser window. You'll see a lot of bookmark links on the Net in that format...URL#bookmark.

You can also see it in the HTML source for pages that use that bookmark format.
