I have created a website called www.v2thunder.co.za and have submitted it to various search engines, incl google and yahoo. If I search on some of my key words, the search engines find the site, but the heading on the search engine reads "This web site has been created with technology from Avanquest Publishing USA, Inc".
I would like the search engine to bring up my description and title of my site ... I have added these in by way of a meta tag.
Can anyone help or shed some light on this for me?

Yes - when you go to 'Build' your website before 'Publish' ing it, you click the 'build' button, then the 'Website' button and a screen comes up. In the 'Options' section click on 'Advanced' and you will see sections for author, keywords and descriptions. Avanquest has put their information in here by default, and you will be advertising for them if you do nothing. Change these parameters to benefit yourself and improve SEO.
Nice photos on your site, and good luck!
