Hello to all,
I am having a problem with the Custom Script Assistant in Web Easy 6 Professional
It seems that when I place an image on the page and choose Link/Internet/Script to bring up the Custom Script Assistant, when I paste or enter the code and click OK it does not appear in the Link window under "Script". It is blank. If I try to paste it directly in that box it doesn't work.

I am trying to embed a flash player code with an image. WE6 Pro doesn't include .flv, only .swf. That occurred in WE7 Pro. Besides I want to use a different player anyway and may want to do this for something else using the CSA.

What am I doing wrong with the Custom Script Assistant? I have tried accessing it via the inspector, etc and get the same result. No text in the Script box after clicking OK.

Anyone know why?

Press on the box, then go to inspector (ctrl+K) double click on the custom script field and enter your data..

I tried that and I get the same thing. It won't transfer from the CSA to the link "Script" box when I click OK. Not from any angle. I use a W98SE computer for the program. Do you think that may have anything to do with it? I have the program on another W98SE computer and I get the same results. Don't have it on my XP computer. I don't think it should matter, but can't swear to it. I am assuming I can cut and paste the script from Notepad which is what I am doing. I have also tried typing it manually and get the same results.

OK,

I see what the problem is.

Only part of it shows. "<embed" and that's it.

However,
When you generate the page and check the "Source" HTML for the page the whole script does actually show up. So the CSA is working, albeit with confusing behavior.

Either way, I have to work on this because the embedded player does NOT work despite several different scripts.

Thanks for the help. Much appreciated.
