Hi there,
I bought the CD version of web easy 7 and put it on my computer. Nothing happens when I click on the icon, or try to start it from the start menu. I have uninstalled it and re-installed it a couple times. I have downloaded the free trial version from the web and it doesn't open either. Has anyone else had this problem or maybe know what is happening??
TIA

Jess

I don't believe anyone had problems getting the program to at least launch, the problems were with the serial numbers.

I'm assuming your pc meets the requirements of the program, right.

Yes, my laptop is running XP, only a year old. I closed all running apps to see if that helped and still didn't work.

Right-click on the desktop shortcut and go to Properties. If there's a Compatibility tab, go to it. Check 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' and select Win 98/WinME from the drop-down menu.

If there's no Compatibility tab, try the same thing with the Start menu shortcut. If neither has a Compatibility tab, you'll need to create a new desktop shortcut directly to the Web Easy executable. That shortcut will have a Compatibility tab. Do your compatibility thing.

Now try launching from the new (or newly-modified) shortcut.
