I am very new to creating web pages, just purchased WE prof. 2 weeks ago. So far having pretty good luck. I am trying to insert the Google Analytics into my web pages so I can track the visitors to my web. It is telling me to copy & paste code segment into the bottom of my content in each page I want to track, immediatly before the </body> tag of each page. I under stand about copying and pasting but I do not understand, to do it before the </body>tag. I donot understand </body>tag. What is this and where is this located for me to see and how do I do it. I thinking this might be a script. I tried copying this into the script box, and then generated the web to see how it looked. It showed this whole script right at the top of my web(it doesn't supposed to look that way) It said somewhere if that happens I did it wrong. I don't know.If any one can help me please let me know. This web page is for my son who just passed away and I am trying to get this up before his fund raiser happens for his endowment. Thanks.

Hello, I'm sorry about your great loss...
Every web page is build from codes, and even thou you can't see the source code with WebEasy, after you Export or publish your site and look at the Html file with a text editor, you can see that source code.
it should have 1 head section and 1 body section among other parts...
in your case you say you want to insert a code into the head part.
the way to do it is:
open properties inspector (ctrl+k) -> On top right press on the little icon to choose : current page -> Page Setting -> Head Elements :
every thing you write here will go to the head section of the page.

Hi,
I'm using Google Analytics too and once you've got the first couple of pages done in Webeasy, it's quite easy.
With Google Analytics, when you sign up you import a little gif file that looks like an orbiting planet. I forget how I first got this into the page so forgive me for that.
Now, move that gif to the bottom right-hand corner of your page.
From the Google Analytics site copy the piece of code.
Back to your gif file now - click on it then press Ctrl-J to open the Custom Script Assistant .
In the object events box paste the code.
Job done.
Next, copy the gif to your next page. Be aware that it does not copy the code with it, so you'll need to copy & paste the code again to each of the pages.
There is a note in Webeasy help that says to avoid using code that begine with "<". I have no idea what this code does but what will happen is that when you view your page, the little planet will have disappeared. This doesn't matter because it's useful not to let people know you have a tracker
One thing to be aware of - if you make changes to any of your pages by inserting a jpg or other code in the future, the code will appear at the bottom.
Google Analytics needs to be the last thing in your source code so you'll have to delete the gif and copy it (and the code) over from another page again before rebuilding and uploading.
If all the GA gifs are in the same place on each page, then it makes copying easier.
Hope that helps

Another couple of tips for you.
I've had a look at your site and it's really nice.
Your pages are titled in "default style" of the name of the web site followed by the page number.
Now, one of the Google Analytics reports tells you which page visitors have looked at and another report tells you which page they landed on.
Unfortunately, the report will only tell you "page 003" or "page 004", which is frustrating.
So, for each of your pages, open the Inspector and click on properties.
Scroll down (click any blank bit of your page first) to the Web Page section.
It has 6 rows, starting with Title, then File Name, Body Events and so on.
In the file name cell, double click to open a little data-entry box and give it a sensible name. This will now appear in your Analytics reports and not a page number.
Have a look at my site if you wish and you'll see in the browser that the pages have names.

Secondly, I should have said that you ought to put the GA gif file and code on every page. If you have your site set up with good keywords, there is no knowing which page visitors might land on, so you ought to track all pages and not just your home/index page.
Hope that helps.
